My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon neither of us had been to Gatlinburg before so everything was new to us. We certainly had a wonderful time. The hotel was in walking distance to all the downtown attractions. We didn't use our vehicle to go anywhere except when we went to Pigeon Forge. The parking is a little... more

We enjoyed our stay at the Edgewater. The location was great! Our room was nicely updated and clean. Only complaint was the lobby was packed when we got there and our room was not ready until an hour after check in. The elevators were a pain and so was finding a luggage cart. Parking was fine for us. We loved... more

Supposed renovation in 2008 was only a cosmetic job that is quickly wearing out. Plants were growing out of the gutters, air/heat unit very outdated, water marks on ceiling in restroom. Elevators were very slow and one only worked part of the time. The parking was HORRIBLE! The spaces are tiny and we even had our car broken into during... more

I had read some reviews about tight parking. What a major understatement we are staying here now and have had a terrible time finding a place every time. The spots are so tight you have to let the passengers out before you can try to squezze in. We got back at 11pm tonite not a place to be had and... more

We stayed at the Edgewater over Fourth of July Weekend. The Staff was great the rooms were recently renovated and pleasantly nice. Had a beautiful view of the Smoky Mountains and Fourth of July fireworks from our room which also overlooked the Pigeon River. Covered parking is available to all guests but the spaces are extremely tight. Perfect if everyone... more

We stayed at the Edgewater Hotel with my sister's family. We had a good time, only problems the pool is very small, the parking garage is very tight and the morning complimentary breakfast is all carbs. They offer biscuits and gravy, toast, cereal, muffins and donuts. If you do not arrive before the 10 they pack up the food on... more

I stayed at this hotel from December 21 through the 24th and thought the hotel was very nice. I never had a problem with the high speed internet, the rooms were a bit small but all furniture was comfortable and the beds and linen were new. The cost of an extra bed ($10 a night) was a bit of a... more

This was our first time to stay in a hotel in Gatlinburg so I can't compare it to others there. Overall we enjoyed the stay. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. That's about all I require for a room. We stayed on the 'mountain view' side. Not much of a view, it was overlooking the pool area and a... more

The location alone is worth the price of the hotel. You have parking and are close enough to everything to walk in downtown Gatlinburg. The view is great if you ask for a river front room. I will say the continental breakfast is a bit lacking and left me hungry after our check out. My nephew loved the pool and... more

The room was nice and clean, air conditioning good. Contintenal breakfast Please, it was dried muffins, old stale donut holes, water down dried powdered milk, watered down juice and biscuits with milk gravy. Not a bagel, or cream cheese or peanut butter to be found. Oh ya I did see an apple, I watched other people just look at it.... more
