We spent two nights at the Eight Gables Inn. They are under new ownership but to us the transition was seamless. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Spared nothing in the decorations. Staff was very helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was excellent. Ice, water bottles, coffee, etc always available. Would definitely recommend.
