I live near Gatlinburg, but decided to take my Senior Girlfriends on a week's vacation. The Staff was great. It was peaceful and serene, just what we needed. Bldg. 9 will definitely be our first choice again next year.

Nice place on the inside not much to look at on the outside. Had a working fire place and nice lcd tv.

We really enjoyed our stay at Treetops. It is very close to Gatlinburg, but far enough away to feel like you have escaped. The main resort is built over Baskins Creek, which is beautiful if that was the only amenity. We actually stayed in a one-bedroom unit in a complex across the road from the main resort. This property is a little dated, but overall is a very good place to stay in Gatlinburg. Used RCI exchange for this 2 bedroom 2 bath room. It had every amenity necessary to enjoy Gatlinburg. This resort is located close to downtown but away from all the crowds and noise. The location actually puts you in the trees! You can hear the little brook and hike from Tree Tops to a great hiking area. The only thing I would suggest would be updating the flooring and the baths. Other than that, kick back and sit... More

Tree Tops Resort is close to downtown Gatlinburg, but gives the atmosphere of being "in the mountains." There is a mountain stream that runs through the property and you can hear the rustling water if you stay in buildings 5 or 6. The condos are well maintained and the staff is excellent.
