The hotel is in the most romantic location with the creek just outside the room. Beautiful in the fall. We cherish the hotel for our trips to the location. Service is absolutely excellent. We stayed here for the second time and it was just as great as it was the first time. Clean rooms and a wonderful free breakfast. It is very close to great shopping and entertainment and very close to the best thing in gatlinburg, the Smoky Mountains National Park! I will stay here on my next trip. more

D-I-R-T-Y! Hampton has lipsticked this pig but it's still an old overused hotel in Gatlinburg. Got a no smoking room directly above some well intentioned Americans who smoked on the balconey, the smoke then blew in the the room with the help of the fan. Nice! We were two hikers who who found this motel to be satisfactory. We liked the location -- somewhat removed from the carnival atmosphere of downtown Gatlinburg and very near the entrance to Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The continental breakfast was fine. The Hampton in Gatlinburg exceeded my expectations! The room was very clean and comfortable, the lobby was very "homey" and clean, and overall it was a great value for the price. I looked at all the reviews of this hotel on Tripadvisor. I have mixed feelings about this hotel. It was hard to find the entrance to get my car parked. Marked poorly. Close to the end of town if you are going to the Smoky National Park - It's a zoo the further you go to the north and away... more

We stayed three nights in early July. The hotel is a basic Hampton Inn, clean with a nice size room. As far as outstanding rooms in Gatlinburg , I dont think you will find to many. It is very close to the park entrance and within walking distance of all the Parkway shopping areas. We stayed on the creek side... more
