The owners and staff of this place were incredible!!! They have a small lodge with a wood burning stove and tables and couches were we came one afternoon to escape the rain, they had toys for the kids, were super kid friendly, and the owner took the time to help my 5 yr old daughter finish her small craft project.... more

Love the Gunflint Trail area and enjoyed our stay at this campground! Though the area is beautiful and many like to rough-it, we enjoyed the best of both worlds, having the luxury of an on-site store with many groceries, bait, candy, gifts/clothing, and the option to get a pizza or ice cream cone or burger. Gunflint Pines Resort (not to be confused with the uppity Gunflint Lodge) is a great family run place with cabins on Gunflint Lake. Very friendly and beautiful setting. more
