Gunflint Lodge located on the Gunflint Trail is a secludid and beautiflul Lodge overlooking Gunflint Lake. It is owned by Bruce and Sue Kerfoot. We spent several wonderful days here hiking, boating and horseback riding. The staff was friendly and attentive to our needs. Our cabin was huge, but still had a cozy feeling to it. more

It's not cheap, but the Gunflint Lodge seemed worth every penny -- beautiful spot, large well-appointed cabins, extremely friendly and helpful staff, and a good restaurant. There can't be many better places to "escape" civilization. more
