We stayed three nights in May, found the staff enthusiastic and cheerful. Everything worked and was clean. Breakfast unusually good for a midrange chain hotel. Nice strolling nearby for the energetic: Carroll Gardens and Park Slope, with nice little restaurants and bars. Don't miss the odd but earnest little gallery/museum Proteus Gowanus at 3rd and Union.

The staff at this hotel is really friendly and helpful. The location is close to lots of restaurants close by. It was very clean which is key to me. Great if you are going to something at the Barclay Center, which is near by.

Friendly and helpful front desk. clean accommodations, comfortably sized rooms, great area for walking, ethnic restaurants, convenient for subway transportation into the city, good price. It was the perfect solution for a short visit to NYC without having to spend a fortune on hotel rates.

I was at this hotel for 2 nights in April 2013. As you'd expect the service was excellent. The rooms and bathrooms were spacious. The decor is a ltlle tired and the place could do with a refresh. Breakfast wasn't great.

Great location....walk out hotel, turn left, walk to traffic light, turn right, cross street and here is your fantastic breakfast spot with awesome coffee in the mornings. If u want a wonderful dinner, at said light, go straight up hill to next light, do NOT cross street, turn left and take about 20 steps, great food, nice atmosphere. Also subway... More

Nice hotel with average location. Everything about our stay itself was good. The location is near the subway & good restaurants, but the block is deserted at night. I would walk in a group or take a taxi. Being aware of that, the staff & rooms are nice. A bit pricey for where it is.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Easy commute to Manhattan. Staff great especially Christina on front desk Louis and Tony. Thank you all for a great stay. Rooms very comfortable would definitely stay here again if ever visiting NYC.
