My husband & I recently had the pleasure of staying at the beautiful Loralei for 4 nights. Unfortunately my husband had a bad flu while we were there & had to seek medical attention. Robert's care & concern were most appreciated during this time. The B & B is in a very interesting area with lots of other lovely homes... More

Lance and Robert are amazing host. Great breakfast every morning. Robert was so helpful with assisting us in getting around the city. Went over the Christmas Holidays with my folks so 4 of us had the place to ourselves. Comfy beds. TV's in each room and big bath tubs. Minutes from the Q train and only 20 minutes in Manhattan!... My partner and I visited NYC in September. This was my third visit at the Loralei (and my partners first). As always Robert was a generous host. After three visits it's like visiting an old friend now :) The rooms are large, well appointed and of course clean. For me one of the main attractions of staying at the Loralei... More

I stayed at the Loralei B&B for almost three weeks while on a work assignment in NY. The owners are wonderful and make the place truly feel like home. It is in a safe neighborhood and I felt very comfortable throughout my stay. My highest recommendation!

We stayed for a week at the Lorelei during which “Super Storm Sandy” hit New York. We couldn’t have wished for more welcoming and generous hosts than Robert and Lance. On the actual day of “Super Storm Sandy” they invited us to lunch, have cocktails and dine at the Lorelei because advice from the authorities was not to venture out.... More

My daughter and I went to New York for a short holiday. Our stay in the Loralei was perfect. Robert is an excellent host and made us feel very welcome. Though located in Brooklyn the Loralei is close to Manhattan: the nearby subway-station Newkirk Plaza is just a 4 min walk away on safe streets, even at night. The B... More

Loralei Bed and Breakfast was our home for four nights in early October, while visiting our daughter and son-in-law in Brooklyn. Robert is the consummate host in his beautifully appointed period home (circa 1904), which, for me, was a trip back in time to my younger years spent on a tree-lined street with homes from the same era. Our rooms... More

We stayed here at the end of September 2012. What we liked: Robert is as genial a host that we have ever encountered; a very likeable man who presents his home to the highest standards. His attention to detail and his presonality resonate throughout and make for a very enjoyable stay. The room (the suite at the front) is spacious,... More

I stayed at Loralei's for three nights at the end of August 2012 and I would definitely consider staying there again. Robert is the best and nicest host who will provide you with a map and detailed instructions on how to get to anywhere you want to go in New York, while also providing great suggestions. I loved being able... More

My husband and I recently stayed 14 nights at Loralei in the front upstairs suite. It's a lovely suite with beautiful views of the leafy street. We really appreciated the space, given our long stay. The en suite bathroom was enormous and the room had a flatscreen TV and air-con. The house is beautifully restored and tastefully furnished. Robert was... More
