We stayed in the Vanderbilt, top-floor apartment, across from Fort Greene Park and loved the neighborhood and the quiet street. The apartment is comfortably furnished and well-stocked with towels and bathroom supplies. The small kitchen is fine for making a quick breakfast before heading out for the day. Mark is fantastic--very responsive, thoughtful, and thorough, from our initial contact to... More

We stayed in the Lafayette apartment and it was gorgeous, comfortable, and central. Mark was super obliging and helpful. No complaints whatsoever.

This B&B is sooo great. The neighbourhood is ok, not a fancy one but very safe: this was what we loved since you have the feeling to live like a local. You are close to the subway station Q which is an express line to manhattan. The place is quiet (much more quiet than Manhattan which is really important because... More

This is an excellent guesthouse, the rooms are excellent and at a great price. They have a traditional Bed & breakfast format and a more apartment style format, I've tried both and enjoyed both enormously. Both are well located, very convenient for Manhattan. The manager, Mark, is super helpful and friendly... I won't look elsewhere when in New York.

We stayed with one other couple in the 2-bedroom brownstone that faced Fort Greene Park. We had the ground-floor level with a separate street entrance. The unit had a queen in an open room, one bathroom, and a proper bedroom. We also had a full kitchen and small courtyard. The unit was clean, updated, and very charming. The decor was... More

Mark was helpful and great from the moment we stepped in the door of Lefferts Manor. My boyfriend and I loved how quiet the neighborhood was and it was nice to be only a few blocks away from the train. I would recommend Lefferts Manor.

My first time in a bed & breakfast for my daughter's graduation from NYU & Mother's Day 2012. Tucked away in a quiet neighborhood, a well kept secret and I am glad I had the opportunity to stay in such a charming place. I prefer this by far over the Marriott in Brooklyn. You will need to book well in... More

I needed last-minute accommodations in Brooklyn and was lucky enough to end up at Lefferts Manor. My room was comfortable and clean, with nice linens and pillows on the bed. The shared bathroom was not a problem--I never had to wait. I had good e-mail communication with Mark before my stay. Monika gave me some maps and a great neighborhood... More

I stayed at Lefferts manor while visiting my daughter who lives in Brooklyn. My room was nicely furnished and clean, the neighborhood is nicely wooded, and the house has good access to bus and subway service. Mark was helpful and friendly. I did not sample the breakfast, so I can't rate that.

I stayed at the Lefferts Manor B&B in February. The B&B innkeeper was particularly helpful and responsive over email when we were coordinating my arrival. It was clean and comfortable - and had really great style. Wish we could have stayed longer and will definitely stay there again when I'm next in NYC.
