Pikes is at a great location in Fairbanks - beautiful setting right on the water. The hotel is pleasant, if a bit kitschy at times. My only real complaint is that the mattresses are awful! Stayed here for a weekend outdoors show. Great price, decent rooms. Fitness center was very nice, and the service was very good as well. Rate included breakfast, which was a bit limited, but a nice perk nonetheless.

We stayed here for a night in March while trying to catch the Aurora Borealis. Our room was affordable, clean, service was good. The art in the main lodge area was my favorite thing. And they offered us free ice-cream! I would stay here again.

We stayed a Pikes 3 nights while waiting for an opening at a place outside of town. Pikes was a very nice property. The staff was courteous and very helpful. Breakfast was better than most complementary servings and evening Ice Cream was very good.

I recently spent the night for a business trip to Fairbanks in February of 2013. It was below zero outside but warm and cozy inside at the lodge. Pike's has friendly staff, a great breakfast buffet and convenient location! Rooms are ample size, clean and have great Aveda amenities!
