I've stayed at the GoldRush Inn many times, most likely about 300 nights or so over the last five years. You get what you pay for, bottom line. It's run by the military and they are not out to make a profit. I actually know quite a few people that have worked there and they are basically just scrapping by....

What a dump. Don’t even think about staying here. Very dated facility, 1960s. Three story building with elevator. Poor lighting in room. Lobby, elevator and hallways had unpleasant odor.
