We first stayed at the Spanish Moss in Feb. and liked it so much we decided to spend our anniversary there in May. We have been going to Savannah since 1980 and the Inn is the best place we have stayed. It is clean, the owners and staff are great, and it is in a great location right across Bay... More

The Spanish Moss Inn was absolutely wonderful!! We stayed for one night in May and it exceeded our expectations. They offered very reasonable rates and friendly fast service. Sam was very helpful and made sure that we were comfortable. The entire house is decorated to perfection, and it is one of the cleanest places we have ever stayed at! The... More

As previous reviewers have said, the Spanish Moss Inn is an elegant, peaceful retreat from the busy streets of Savannah. Sam was a helpful host who welcomed us, but also gave us space to come and go. It was helpful to have a parking space and not at all a problem to walk one block for a very good breakfast... More

We stayed in the Garden Room. Pros- - Room is truly gorgeous, with exposed brick walls and a wood burning fireplace. It's also huge. Has a separate entry so it feels like your own space. - Location is great. Easy access to the river and historic district. - Parking available in the garage. You will have to leave your keys... More

Thank you for staying with us at the Spanish Moss Inn. We appreciate your feed back, and would like to take this time to share some of our future plans for the Garden room. As always, the Garden room is a private space and strictly for the use of the guest. Private space includes the bedroom, adjoining reading and/or t.v.... More

this place is lovely - it is filled with antiques, really pretty, and it is a great location. Base on the review below, we asked to be in the garden room. It is a stunning room, and big. The issue we had was two-fold: - you have to take a communal corridor to get to the bathroom, which is tiny... More

We stayed in the Garden Room for three nights. The room and the whole Inn exceeded our expectations. The online photos do not do it justice. The Garden room was a huge sun-lit room , beautifully furnished with a very comfortable king size four-poster bed with a canopy and carved headboard, brick fireplace, and high-quality furniture. It is very quiet... More

Probably our favorite B&B so far! We felt welcomed from the start. We stayed here with another couple in May and had adjoining rooms. Afternoon wine and cheese surpassed our expectations. There was a different spread each afternoon and all of it was delicious. Red velvet cupcakes, goat cheese, and more... Breakfast was just as delightful. Each morning we were... More

Its hard to find that balance between engaging your guests while not imposing on them. Sam and Elana have it figured out. What a great stay, room was large, clean and very charming. We stayed in the Mariners room in the lower level accessed by a tiny narrow staircase (just added to the charm). The breakfast deal was fantastic and... More
