Needed to stay close to the BWI airport for a business trip. Check in was very nice and I was given a room on the 9th floor, which gave me access to the Elite Club lounge or whatever its called. The hotels in america are generally disappointing in terms of their service, amentities and luxury level of the rooms. This hotel features a renovated marriott and while the bed is comfortable, the a/c is the old noisy start up and down sort next to the window. The fan is noisy and the A/C when it kicks on would wake anyone. It's a very old hotel that needs to be renovated. Breakfast buffet was very skimpy on fresh fruit and other items. more

Received large amounts of attitude from hotel management and front desk staff after complaining about hotel's shuttle bus service. Had to call four times and wait an hour for shuttle pick-up. Easy checkin, huge bathroom, flat screen tv. My main complaint is that Marriott's continue to charge for internet access. In this day and age that just amazes me. Just a quick drive to Arundel Mills Mall and the "hotel zone" of BWI continues to improve food selections. more
