We were very happy with our stay at the Holiday Inn in Astoria. The hotel is right at the base of the bride that crosses the Columbia River to Washington. The ships that come in or out go right in front of the hotel so close you can darn near swim out to touch them. Though I wouldn't advise it.... More

This is my favorite hotel in Astoria. The waterfront rooms are amazing and right on the river. It's fun to watch the ships come in and out of port. I love the gas fireplaces. And they have suites which feature a kitchen, two bedrooms and lots of televisions - which is really nice if you're traveling with a bigger group.... More

We stayed here over spring break. Hotel was very nice and well kept. We had a riverside view room which had a great view of the bridge, river and the boats passing through. The pool was decent and my kids enjoyed it. Internet was fast and connected no problem. I would stay here again and recommend it to my friends... More

What a pleasant surprise! Our rooms were 4th floor, riverside, and WOW, great views. You can watch the huge ships and tugs working the river; the lights are beautiful after dark.
