I recently started working a big project with CSX (4 blocks up the river from this hotel) and the hotel offers an outstanding contractor rate.
Rooms are big. Even the standard 2-queen "deluxe" room is very large with a huge bathroom and plenty of open floor space.
No complaints about cleanliness at all. Rooms here are very clean.

I've had to come to downtown jacksonville for the last 3 years to go to a convention, I assume that's the only reason anyone would stay in downtown Jacksonville? Downtown Detroit makes Jacksonville look good- I'll never be back.
