This was our second stay at the Battlefield B&B. It was just as much fun as the first time. The breakfast was delicious and beautifully plated. The host or hostess are so helpful with directions and special events. Each morning they have someone speak about different aspects of the Civil War. They make their topic very interesting. My husband and... More

We stayed at the Battlefield Bed and Breakfast and could not have been any happier! The room was comfortable and decorated beautifully. The breakfasts we had were SUPERB and fun and relaxing. Good start to our adventures in and around Gettysburg! The hostess was pleasant and accommodating to our every need. We felt right at home! Loved the Friday night... More

This was one of the most relaxing and entertaining experience we have had in lodging experience. We have traveled across the USA from Ohio. Our visit to Gettysburg was so fun and educations. And our experience at the Battlefield B&B was above our expectations. The staff is friends, they activities they provide are interesting and the place is immaculate. Very... More

We've stayed at Battlefield B&B twice now. It is a great place to stay. One morning I went for a walk and met Horace Greeley on the front walkway. The B&B has people come and do presentation before breakfast. The actor playing Horace was in character the whole time. Rooms were nice. One trip we had the "haunted" room. Didn't... More

We had a delightful visit here. We came to spend 2 days and really see Gettysburg and the new visitor center. This was the perfect place to stay on the ede of the battlefeild in an historic home and sweeping grounds. The owner talked history with us over beakfast after a delightful hour talk from a civil war union soldier... More

My paddymac from Ireland and myself spent 2 lovely nights at this B & B [20 Nov 2011 - 22 Nov 2011]. We found the B & B and grounds very charming and the staff very hospitable. Not to mention, the breakfast spread was awesome. I'd give the French Toast served on our first day rave reviews. The house had... More

This place was great. It's just on the outskirts of where thousands of men fought each other during the three day battle during the Civil War. The rooms are very quaint. The dining room is beautiful and the rest of the house is just great. We woke up both mornings to a one hour history talk about the war followed... More

The breakfasts were fantastic. Enjoyed the grounds and the morning history talk. The host when we stayed was Bill and he was very helpful and accomodating. My wife loved the many cats roaming the farm. The inn was full of friendly people from all over the country. Would definitely go back. More

This place is so charming. The grounds and the feeling about the place really give you the chance to look around and feel what it may have been like 150 years ago. The property has an immense civil war history, being a field hospital during the battle and the weeks that followed. Florence and the rest of the staff are... More

Gorgeous inn on the outskirts of Gettysburg. Beautiful room, Grahams Artillery. The Fireplace really added to the ambiance. Even though we had that sudden N'oreaster with a foot of snow for Halloween weekend, we still had an awesome time! Super breakfasts and historians on site to tell stories. If it weren't for the horrid storm we might have stayed longer.... More
