Stayed here here 21 - 22 Dec 2011, All amenities were NOT available. Pool and Sauna were being re-tiled, restaurant was not open, Wi-Fi for rooms was not available, and there was not hot water for the building we stayed in. The Eisenhower is located on a peaceful, serene area of land. Just a few minute drive to battlefields and the quaint downtown Gettysburg. The hotel itself is older and outdated. Our room was clean and fine for just our overnight stay. The staff was friendly and helpful. More

Gettysburg is a big tourist attraction and, as such, it can sometimes be difficult to find a hotel that is not overpriced and decent. The Eisenhower is a huge conference center/hotel on Steinwehr Avenue and it almost always has vacancies. And it's close to the National Park. We stayed at this hotel for our anniversary. The rooms were nice, nothing spectacular, but very clean and fairly comfortable. But I was all excited to go down to the pool and have a drink. The hotel room was what you would expect given what you pay. We stayed in the newer building the weekend of our wedding anniversary. The desk staff were very friendly and check in went smoothly. I'm honestly not that picky, but this is the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. Musty smell was bad enough that we seriously considered not eating dinner rather than eating our pizza in that room.
