The tent sites are not private or even tree-covered. Some are appear to be in the backyard of a neighboring house, and the "more secluded" sites are actually along Rt 15 (a major highway) and have power lines over head, but no privacy. The campground looked fine otherwise, but we decided not to stay because the sites were so unattractive. more

The advertised internet isn't here, apparently a money dispute between owners and provider, this akes it very dificult to even do casual work on the weekend. Not clear who is in charge owners apparently also own Drummer Boy a few miles north on US 15 and that appears to be their focus, I got the impression that they could care... more

I use to like round top camp ground. It was a place to relax and enjoy. I had recently went there for a weekend stay. i would like to point out how unpleased i was with the place. Gettysburg area was great and would recommend trip. I would recommend finding another campground for the following reasons. We stayed for one week and the showers and restrooms were cleaned only once. This after saying something to the office twice. Very nice facilities and actvities, great pool- very clean, main camp store good, if road noise bothers you at night might read some of the other reviews. cabin was very clean, a/c worked fine a lillte loud at night but better than no AC, staff fine, I did not have time to check outthe tent sites, very close to all... more
