Unpleasantly surprised when seeing the room and asked to be moved, but no better experience was to be had at this hotel. The website makes the rooms and lobby look so much nicer lthan real life, you can't see the details....old, dated furniture and wallpaper, beat-up woodwork and lamps...uninspiring decor, too much furniture in the room, terrible colors. My stay at the Sofitel was positively invigorating. The beds were comfortable, the staff was helpful, the bathroom was clean, and housekeeping was quick.
