When we arrived we were not sure what to expect. The staff were friendly and helpful but the hotel was dated and the carpets in the hallways had an odour suggesting it was time to replace them. I guess this is more suited to the winter months when it is used by Skiiers due to it's location. Could do with... More

The pictures and reviews are very deceiving for this place. It was over priced and rooms left to be desired. Shower was smaller then a coffin and had mold. Our room & hallway smelt musty. I have stayed at nicer Motel 6's. Look for another is my recommendation. More

I am sorry your experience with us did not meet your expectations. We take great pride in our cleanliness, amenities and service ; regrettably we did not learn of your concerns during your stay. Our website showcases a variety of room types, many with remodeled baths, refrigerators and microwaves; our Front Desk staff offers these rooms to guests wanting to... More

Here's the thing.. I think we were set up for disappointment by the hotel's website. The website really sells the property... but is not really a "true" depiction of the hotel. We stayed in a regular two Queen bed room (with our dog). The room was very average and needs refurbishing. It was clean and everything worked but we didn't... More

I am sorry your impressions of the Lodge did not meet your expectations; that can be very disappointing. We are in the process of modeling our two queen bed rooms and hope you give us another chance to experience them- I think you will be wowed! Thank you for your kind words about our staff, and we hope you and... More

We stayed for 4 nights as part of a snowboarding trip. Booked through Virgin holidays, 4th night was free. We received continental breakfast in Rafters restaurant each day as part of our package. The Sierra Nevada Lodge is a cracking little hotel in the beautiful town of Mammoth Lakes. You are fairly close to the slopes, but it isn't walking... More

We stayed for 3 nights over Presidents Day weekend in a Kitchen Suite with 2 queen beds. I'm glad we paid a little more for the kitchen and extra space. I saw the regular 2 queen rooms and they seemed rather crowded especially with all the snow gear that people usually bring this time of year. We had a good... More

Stayed at the Sierra Nevada Lodge for 3 nights during a recent ski trip. The lodge is located close to the Village and surrounded by stores and places to eat nearby. We appreciated that the female clerk at the front desk was considerate enough to put us in a room away from a high school group that was staying there... More

Stayed with my son on a weekend ski trip. The lobby was great as we could hang out and play pool (for free) after dinner while watching sportscenter (and not be holed up in the room). On Sat. night the bar was open for a while and had a decent bottle of wine. Nice outdoor hot tub. Rooms were fine... More

We stayed in low season, where prices are a bit lower. Room was clean, friendly and nice! Unfortunately the Sauna in the top floor only heated up untill 40 ° C. Breakfast next door at Rafter's was good and tasty. Great location as a base for daytrips! Parking spaces next to hotel entry. My recommendation! More

We booked a 5 night stay right after Christmas including their continental breakfast. The first night, the smoke detector went off 5 times every few hours. They finally came out to fix it and just removed it from the room. The continental breakfast included cereal, fruit, bagels, yogurt, muffins, toast, and coffee. Each time we went they were out of... Accomodation was in a deluxe beachfront villa, with terrace that opened onto pure white sand, rooms were large with four poster bed, food was excellent, we used the buffet style restarant and we were never dissapointed. Staff were polite and only too happy to help. In all one of the most magical and perfect holidays I have been on. Would... More
