DO NOT stay at this place. The condos are WAY OVERPRICED and the management there is a joke. Stay somewhere else. I stayed there with my wife and paid for a 7 day stay. My pregnant wife got sick so we left two days early and had another couple stay in our place. They preceeded to charge me an additional... more

We stayed at the Mammoth Creek in from Monday, August 10 to Saturday, August 15. We came to Mammoth Lakes to visit some of the attractions in the area (Bodie, Mono Lake, Little Lakes Valley, etc.), and used the Mammoth Creek Inn as our "home base". The inn is located on the edge of town, in a good spot. Right... more

We came to Mammoth without plans of where to stay after looking at several ho hum motels & innes we decided on Mammoth Creek Inn. It is well situated on the edge of town and is near a beautiful park, trails and a summer shuttle that takes you into town. The room 106 was very big with a kitchen and... more

It really does not live up to its website. Yes, there are rooms with views of the mountains, but others have views of the parking lot of the retail plaza next door. They also seem to have the attitude that their guests are there to steal from them, you have to pay the balance of your room before checking in,... more

We recently stayed at the Mammoth Creek Inn in a “lodge suite”. Both the room and bathroom had been recently remodeled, and were nice. The Inn is on an edge of town, and one side of it backs up to scenic mountains. The rooms on the other side back up to buildings and parking lot. Our room had a great... more

The good: Pleasant staff and lovely sitting room. The rooms were small, but clean. The bad: The room was hot in July and there was no air conditioning. This is not a place to stay in the Summer. Complementry breakfast was pretty plain. The bathroom had a worn and discolored floor. Overall: A good crash pad for guys on a... more

We stayed here for three nights. We were originally shown the room that we had apparently paid for. It was very small and on the street side, so it was somewhat noisy. I asked if there was anything else available. We were shown several other rooms (also small). Then we were shown the deluxe room which really was! Long story... more

We loved the character of this hotel and its beautiful location. We had a very warm welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Our only problem was that we had booked a suite as a party of three adults, to have a separate sleeping area in the lounge. There were two sofabeds but both were dire. As we were only... more

Stayed here for one night as a stopover on way from LV to SF. Room was very clean, bathroom decent and shower good. Free tea and coffee at all times in lounge. Receptionist very friendly. Hotel very good value for money. Mammoth Lakes is a beautiful looking place and would really have liked to spend more time there. more

Stayed for 3 nights as a base for exploring Mammoth Lakes and the surrounding area. God a good price through the hotels website and we were upgraded to a bigger room when we arrived. The room was a good size with good views out over the mountains. The room was pleasantly decorated but the furniture was beginning to look a... more
