My husband and I went here for a weekend getaway and to see Yosemite. The hotel itself is nice, there are a lot of places to eat with in walking distance, the room offers a full kitchen with utensils and refrigerator/freezer and a comfy bed with plenty of pillows and a huge bath tub with plenty of towels. The things... More

We stayed at The Village Lodge at Mammoth over the New Year's holiday as an alternative to Lake Tahoe. We flew in via SFO and it only took us a half hour in the air and then about 10 minute complimentary shuttle ride to the village. There were lots of families with kids staying at the hotel and we were... More

I stayed here over my son's spring break from school and we all had a wonderful time, the room was very nice and roomy very nicely appointed, kitchen, nice comfy beds, fireplace, nice private balcony and in the center of everything. The kids could ski in and out no shuttles it could not have been more convienient and very affordable.... More

We just got back from our second stay at this property. Our first visit was in a 2 bedroom unit in the Grand Sierra building, the latest was in a 3 bedroom unit in the Lincoln building. I had read reviews that Grand Sierra was a better building, but we found no noticeable difference between the units. This is an... More

There's no better location at Mammoth Lakes! However, the rooms are individually owned, so wide range of amenities, furniture and decor. On this last visit, room had no dressers or shelving in bedrooms, so our bags and clothes were spread around on the floor. Beds not that comfy either. That said, living area, kitchen and bathrooms were nice. Plenty of... More

We stayed in the Lincoln House...directly across from the gondola. Our two bedroom was large (larger than the two bedrooms at the Westin across the street ). The condo we stayed was modern, well appointed and comfortable. There is a ski locker room located on your way to the gondola; there is a parking garage below. No place is perfect,... More

We stayed in a 2 bedroom condo at the The Village last Spring to go skiing, & we had a very nice time. The condo was on the 3rd floor, & it had a nice view of the Village Plaza. The condo was very spacious, clean, & modern. Our condo was an extremely short walk to the Village Gondola &... More

My husband & I decided to splurge on a mid-season trip to Mammoth since we usually go in May on a stay & ride free deal at the Mammoth Mountain Inn. This time we got a 1-bedroom condo in the Lincoln House. Of course, we pick the crappiest winter in ages to go to Mammoth, but what can you do?... More

WARNING to ALL visitors to Mammoth that stay at one of their "Mammoth Lodging Properties" (Mammoth Mountain Inn, etc), they have a "hidden" $20-$25 daily "resort fee" that is a scam. You cannot opt out of this fee, and you get nothing for it. They do this on purpose because a lot of people to carefully check. If it was... More

This is a review of our experience of trying to book this hotel from Australia. I generally prefer to deal directly with the hotel when booking, rather than going through a booking agency. I have googled everything I can think of to try to find the hotel's website and have looked at all the hotel booking sites - this hotel... More
