Cannot say enough about the lovely surroundings of this B&B. Comfortable and clean rooms. Breakfast is scrumptious! Tim and Virginia are delightful. Bethlehem is a lovely town to explore. A perfect package!

I had to go to Bethlehem for a business trip and decided to stay at the Morningstar based on travelers reviews on tripadvisor. I was not familiar with the area and/or Bethlehem at all and realized I landed in the perfect location for trip to this city. The Morningstar is located in the historic district of town within walking distance... More

Tim and Virginia are experienced owners and managers of this property. Friendly atmosphere, lovely rooms ( have stayed in three of the five), interesting and generous breakfast, and of course cookies. Gotta have the cookies. Public rooms include a year-round sun porch. Located in the historic area of Bethlehem within walking distance of the local colleges, restaurants and downtown district.... More

I stayed here for one night as part of a campus visit for a position at Lehigh University. I must confess there are fewer occasions in which I've felt treated as good as that one night. Virginia and Tim are fabulous, charming, and always willing to help (no matter how late it is). The room was extremely comfortably, everything was... More

As most who have posted, we decided to stay here bc of the consistently high ratings on TripAdvisor. I can now confirm that all the superlatives are true - we had a wonderful (though short) visit and we will return! The care and love put into this beautiful historic home is evident throughout (loved the roaring fireplace, the sunroom, and... More

The bed and breakfast was amazing. We stayed for one night in December. It was decorated beautifully for the holidays. It is a close walk to downtown shops and restaurants. The fresh baked cookies and drinks were great. We stayed in the Parapet room and could not have been happier. Both Virginia and Tim were friendly and helpful. Virginia truly... More

My husband and I just returned from a second stay at Morningstar! You could not ask for better hosts in Virginia and Tim. They do everything they can to make your stay as enjoyable as possible! Virginia is a fabulous baker and breakfast is nothing less than a gourmet experience! Our room was comfortable and the inn is very clean.... More

We chose Morningstar because of its location (easy walk to shops and restaurants, in the midst of the historic district) and the stellar reviews. Happy to say the reviews are right on. We are generally not big B&B fans; but we will definitely return to Morningstar. Both Virginia and Tim are terrific hosts; and Virginia's breakfast was spectacular!

Historic Bethlehem was a very pleasant surprise. It's really a beautiful place to visit and Morningstar is the perfect place to stay. Our hosts, Virginia and Tim, were charming, accommodating, and made our stay very enjoyable. The Inn is very clean and quite comfortable. It has many unique pieces of furniture (loved the spool cabinets in the sunroom!). The breakfasts... More

This was our first experience with a B & B. Excellent. Very nice house in the midst of the historic Bethlehem. Great hosts both Virginia and Tim. The room was very clean and comfortable. Big windows looking at the beautiful houses and tall trees. The breakfast was very good all the 3 days we were there. The Sunday one was... More
