What a beautiful treasure tucked in the leaves and flowers overlooking charming downtown Middlesboro! Work brought me to Middlesboro, but Jill's hospitality will bring me back. She was expecting me, greeted me enthusiastically, and made me feel comfortable and so welcome. Jill prepared a wonderful stuffed French toast breakfast, and had time to sit, visit, and share coffee with the... More

Once I found Cumberland Manor B&B a few years ago, it has become my "go to" place to stay in Middlesboro. Jill is very knowledgeable about the area and can give guidance about interesting places to visit, as well as local history. She is a wonderful hostess and does to-die-for breakfasts tailored to guests' wishes. I've stayed in almost every... More

My husband & I traveled to KY and found this wonderful B & B. Jill and John are the owners of this beautiful Manor. We were very happy to stay here, it's so beautiful and cozy. The Manor is filled with antiques and treasures. We stayed in the Lincoln room which was so lovely and big. Jill made us breakfast... More

Cumberland Manor has a LONG history. This beautiful late 1890s home is located atop the dome of a meteor crater that hit the Earth 300 million years ago. What a view of the city, valley and Cumberland Gap! This property is furnished in fine antiques and expertly run by Jill and her husband. I stayed in the Lincoln suite and... More

I was graduating from grad school in Harrogate Tennessee at LMU and searching on TA for a neat place to stay and found Cumberland Manor much to our surprise. The drive up the winding road is very interesting being that it is where a meteor struck several billion years ago. The view was beautiful but my husband was hesitant on... More

This historical retreat is a trip back in time. From the antique furnishings, artwork and stories as told by Jill, you live yesterday, today and, possibly tomorrow in the cosy comfort of this beautifully restored (woodworkings by John) old historic masterpiece! The house alone is delightful but, the food, prepared by Jill, is superb! I truly plan to put this... More

Beautiful views with great hosts. Loved our welcoming committee...Georgia! John & Jill were fabulous hosts. Made us feel right at home. View was beautiful from our 3rd floor room. It is evident that John and Jill take pride in their home and business. The spacious front porch was awesome for our moonlight social as well as our morning coffee.

A fantastic Victorian rich in wonderful antiques. The location is perfect for visiting the Cumberland Gap park. Best of all is the host: Jill is a lovely person, helpful (including with where to hike) beyond expectations, and a great cook (fantastic breakfasts, with fruit and vegetables from her own garden).
