The lodge was sold out by the time I made my reservation, so I "settled" for the Motor Inn. It does not have the rim view or convenient location that the lodge has, but it is perfectly suitable for a stay in Crater Lake park. You're only a 15-20 minute drive from the Rim Drive that encircles the crater, and... More

Spent 2 nights at the motor inn. Have stayed at a number of National Parks. This was one of the nicest and modern places we have stayed in a National Park. The price of about $135 a night was well worth it. Just to be able to stay in a National Park is worth it. The room was clean. Nice... More

Not the best value but also not that bad. Like others have said it is a motel room, very basic and dark however you are in the park so you can get to the sights faster which is why you came to the park in the first place. The restaurant is buffet style which works for some but not others.... More

For the money (about $150.00/night), it really wasn't worth it. It was clean, convenient to the locations in the park, but very primitive. Each accomodation is one unit of a quad plex. No telephone, no tv, no Wifi just a bed and a bathroom. Frankly, it was worth less than half of what we paid. We have paid less for... More

The Village Motor Inn was advertised as a Cabin by Xanterra, the company that manages Crater Lake and other National park facilities. It is not a cabin, it is a group of many buildings. Each building has 4 units. Each unit is a very low-end motel room. Had I known this, I would have just tent camped. No TV, very... More

The rooms are clean and the linens are fresh. However this place is overly priced. They don't even have basic fire pit to start a camp fire. The camp grounds are fun though. More

We just returned from our first trip to Crater Lake and I must say the campground was one of the best. We stayed in G Loop – tents only. The sites were very large and spaced far enough apart that you really were away from your neighbors. Since it was a tent only loop it was a very quiet area... More

We could not get reservations at the Lodge, which would have been our preference, so we stayed at the cabins. Know in advance that television, cell phone service, and air conditioning are not available. The room was basic and clean; totally acceptable if you are not expecting the Ritz. Our unit did not have window screens so the room was... More

We visited Crater Lake in the month of august which was the best time to visit. The place was breath taking each point is different and unique in its own way. My in-laws were visiting us so it was my husband, my in-laws and myself who wanted to go camping for the weekend. The website to book the rooms and... More

Get reservations well in advance. Motor Inn aka Cabins at Mazama Village was clean, very quiet and comfortable. Bugs outside at night but only one cricket in the room. Beautiful forest surrounding cabins with nice walking areas and a little store and a "buffet" style restaurant. Would go back. More
