We went for a wedding. the room had no air conditioning and that was not diclosed at booking or check-in. rooms smelled bad. Decor was way outdated. Front desk staff was not helpful. We went to the Pierpont Inn for Christmas dinner. It is under new management and the setting is just beautiful. The food was mostly cold and odd (for $75 per person) while the service was slow and terrible. They had canned Christmas music playing. We won't go back. More

We love history so for us the Pierpont was a good choice as it had a clean, comfortable room, a yummy complimentary breakfast and lots of old stories.
