We highly recommend the Garden Cottage B&B! We had a wonderful stay and Diana and Gary really made us feel at home. They accommodated my husband's food sensitivities and even put the electric tea kettle in our room so we could have tea anytime we wanted. Our room was so comfortable and nicely decorated - everything is color coordinated! The... More

Reserve early because they're popular. Location is great (only a block away from the Shakespeare Festival), atmosphere is warm, host and hostess are engaging without being intrusive, and the food is to die for. Even if you don't want to attend the plays (some of the best regional theater in the country) or visit Zion or Cedar Breaks, go just... More

We have been staying at the Garden Cottage for about 10 years. We book our room as soon as we can buy tickets for the Shakespear Festival, a year in advance. Diana & Gary are the very best inn keepers we've ever meet. Diana is so thoughtful and remembers details about those who have stayed with her. This is our... More

Diana and Gary were wonderful hosts. I truly appreciate the extra mile that Diana made...my friend had had a rough time in life, and I thought it would be great if her favorite flowers and color of flowers would be awaiting her when we arrived at the cottage. I placed a call to Diana, and she graciously took the time... More

After a transatlantic flight and drive from Vegas we received a very warm welcome at the garden cottage. The room was very 'English' and had all we required for our overnight stay. We had a lovely homemade breakfast and chat with the owners, which was a great start to the day. Our only criticism was the NeverLost system in our... More

Diana was so gracious and the rooms were fabulous in every way. Amazing attention to detail. Breakfast was delicious and very satisfying. Not only that, it was almost too beautiful to eat, a real work of art. I stayed in the Rose Room and my friend stayed in the Lilac Room. The Lilac Room is in back off the garden... More

Our stay with Gary and Diana at the Garden Cottage was such a treat. Their home is charming and we felt so welcome. At breakfast while enjoying great food we met other guests from Utah; they and the Simpins gave us great tips for SLC and glowing reports of the Shakespeare Festival. We hope to return next fall to experience... More

So close to the Shakespearean Festival you can walk and the gardens are so beautiful! A day trip to Bryce Canyon is amazing and shopping for trinkets or treasures is so fun in the little downtown area! Dianna and Gary Simkins are the best of Hosts... have been many times and keep comming back! More

Victorian charm inside and out with a delicious breakfast and warm, friendly hosts. The details make the difference, such as the stars that appeared on the ceiling above the bed when we turned off the lights. Strolling through the peaceful gardens that surround the home was an open invitation to sit and stay a while. Enchanting, hospitable and close to... More

My daughter and I have stayed at the Garden Cottage for three years in a row in order to attend the Shakespearean Festival. Diana and Gary are great hosts. The breakfasts are tasty but a bit heavy on egg casseroles. The house itself is very cute and decorated in a traditional victorian/turn of the century style. The rooms and beds... More
