As soon as you step into the Martinique you'll be able to understand why 19 worldwide airlines select this hotel for their crews. The lobbey is well appointed and packed with helpful doormen and knowledgable staff. The rooms are above average for a historic downtown hotel in Manhatten. From the time i walked into the hotel, the staff was the most friendly, professional and accommodating group i have seen in a long time. the room was spacious and clean and the location was great. For the value you get the most bang for the buck.

For a NY hotel the rooms have a good size, we were up at the 16th floor so no noise of traffic, great big breakfast buffet with fresh fruits, cinnamon roles, eggs also., don't forget your breakfast voucher, you have to pay otherwise as they are really inflexible. As a frequent traveler with Radisson in Europe I was disappointed by the bad quality of the provided service. Staff at the front desk little motivated and did not make me feel as a guest. Rooms were ok, cleanlyness only sufficient. Restaurant staff was friendly and food very good. Top location for tourists.

The main feature of the hotel is the excellent location, I didn't have to take a cab anywhere, it was all within walking distance. The room was small with a window overlooking the inside walls of the building and the bathroom was so small that I had to slide round the door to get in. Adequate for my purposes however.

When you see "Radisson", you think "luxury", so this hotel was a major let down for us. Check in seemed to take forever- the guy we were dealing wanted not only to enter our driving license numbers on his computer, but then he wanted photocopies for his records.
