Stayed in one bedroom suite, which was pretty big (not just by NYC standards either) first, the bad: Bathroom had very little counter space, just the sides od the sink and the bathroom itself was small considering the size of the room. Definitely too small for two people to be in at once. The shower curtain doesnt stay totally shut... more

Beautiful hotel in a great location. The hotel has the history and finesse for New York City. Guest rooms are small, which is to be expected in such a large city. The carpet is very worn would be the only downside. The bathroom was beautiful. Sunday brunch is $95/person. more

First thing to note is that this doesn't act like a Hilton Hotel, so your diamond loyalty cards etc count for very little. We did manange to persuade them to give us breakfast in the Towers lounge but the regular off er was a voucher for Starbucks Rooms are tired but large with the most revolting toiletries! Marzipan soap and... more

First the positive notes: Can't beat the location. If you like a historical hotel, this one has a romantic history. Other than that... On their website, they offer an uprade (certainly not for free) if you request one. We requested a one bedroom suite on the Concierge floor. We were told that the website was wrong and that was not... more

I had the perfect stay at the Waldorf Astoria. From the minute we checked in till we left everything went smooth. We were checked in at a private office: no standing in line. The room we booked wasn't available but they immediately upgraded us to an other room. Once in the room we got a phonecall to check if everything... more

Stayed at Waldorf Astoria with mother and sister form the time we arrived and were escorted from car to lobby we were treated with courtesy and politeness. It did not matter if you were in jeans or furs guests are guests. We did have a room upgrade so it as large enough for all 3 of us-although the access to... more

Enjoyed a wonderful time in this classic hotel, staff were exceptional with any requests dealt with immediately and nothing seemed to be too much trouble. restaurants were expensive but the food was of the highest order and worth the cost. Try the steaks in the Bull and Bear, they are fantastic. more

This is a stunning art deco hotel in a great location – within walking distance of 5th Avenue, Grand Central, Central Park and Macys. The bedrooms are not up to the same decorative standard as the public spaces (that would be hard) but we had a spacious comfortable room for three. The staff were fantastic – friendly and courteous. Cleaning... more
