Although it is uptown, the hotel is near from metro station, so it's easy to go everywhere. Good restaurants nearby if you don't want go far. Staff was very nice and neighborhood was quiet. Just a walk from the Metropolitan. More

Upper East Side hotels are dwindling and The Franklin is probably the best value of any of those that remain. The rooms are small but comfortable and clean. The staff is very helpful. Continental breakfast is included, coffee is always available (good coffee) and nice snacks are offered in the afternoon. More
