The Belvedere Hotel could not be more convenient to the heart of the theatre district and is within a couple of blocks of several subway stations. The rooms are large by New York standards and though some of the appointments show a bit of wear (strip of laminate missing from bathroom door), overall, the rooms were clean and comfortable. The... Upgrade is worth it and recommended. Staff was helpful and people in building friendly. Right in the middle of midtown/Times Square/Hells Kitchen. Restaurants all over. Transportation everywhere. Top floors have great view. I will return.

Stayed at room 713 and the room was adorable. Great bathroom, TV, AC. The staff was the most reliable and friendly staff I have ever encountered. One great thanks to the Engineer on the job. I called late I would say close to midnight cause my room wasn't as cool as I wanted. He was there as I hung up... More

Great hotel. Best stay I have had to date in NYC. Large rooms, very clean, great location and very helpful staff. In particular was concierge. He was incredibly helpful, kind and gave great suggestions for restaurants. All of the staff were friendly. Will definitely stay at this hotel again during my next stay in NYC.

We stayed at the hotel a number of years ago and thought we'd give it another try. It was an average hotel for an average price. Since its renovation, it is a great hotel for a great price. The deluxe King room was very nicely decorated and the bed was comfy. The only complaint is that one needs to be... More

The Belvedere is on W. 48th between 8th and 9th Avenues — close to Times Square without the noise of the crowds, surrounded by restaurants and theatres, and within walking distance to many of the highlights of Manhattan. The service was friendly and prompt, the doormen were more than willing to flag down cabs and give directions, the rooms were... More

My first hotel in New York! Big place, slooooooow elevators, corridors a bit dark, but the room was fine for 2 persons. Beds were good, the windows could open a bit (no noise, we were at the back), but the bathroom could be bigger. There was a tiny kitchenette with a fridge and a microwave, and that worked fine for... The charming Belvedere Hotel made my first visit to New York City very memorable, because of it's excellent value for money and great location. It is located one block from the heart of Times Square, theatres, attractions and great restaurants all within easy walking distance. There are also several subway stations close by. The hotel has an old world charm... More
