We stayed here for 3 nights . The room was a decent size for NYC . I didn't feel crowded with 3 adults (my daughters) We arrived before check-in so the hotel stored our luggage & we were off to find lunch. We returned around 4:00, check in was quick. Our room was clean with 2 double beds & a... More

The hotel is in a great location on Times Square, especially good for first time visitors, which is what we were. Easy walk to Broadway shows. Other reviews have mentioned street noise, but I think that's an unavoidable feature of staying in this area. The staff was friendly and efficient. The room was ok, clean and simple, nothing to get... More

Awesome hotel!! Staff very friendly. Room was big and clean. Very impressed. I liked this hotel better than Marriott Marquis. I live in one of the 5 boroughs and used my II points since I was catching a cruise ship the following day and did not want to miss the ship due to the 5 boro bike tour. More

We stayed here for 3 nights in a suite on the 26th floor. Loved the small boutique feel of the hotel which had a very cool vibe. The concierge was wonderful, along with all of the staff. We did not have any issues with noise. The location was great for broadway shows, walking to central park and 5th avenue and... More

Just returned from a 6 day trip to NYC. Stayed at Renaissance based on other reviews from Trip Advisor. Our room on the 7th floor was large by NYC standards, but it was extremely noisy due to TS. There were street performers just below our window that started performing at around 4:00 p.m. and went until at least 11:00 on... More

Good :- - Great Location (Easy access to subway / broadway / times square) - Tidy Room - Good Concierge Bad:- - If you get a room next to the elevators request a change. Everytime the lift doors opened the noise felt like it was inside of your room. It made getting a good night sleep impossible... - Need to... More

Decided to try this Times square property while on two night stay in NYC. Was partially lured by R lounge overseeing the TS at night, though (guess!) it was closed on the week-end (guess again!) starting 10am Friday, serving private parties. The check-in desk is (seen in NYC only) a tiny one on the first floor with the lift to... More

First time at the Renaissance which has great Times Square adjacent location, location, location. Staff is reasonably friendly but seems a little stretched for this size property. But, the bed had a broken mattress spring poking through the side, the batteries in the safe needed to be replaced, the wallpaper in the bathroom was peeling, the iron needed to be... More

For those wanting to stay in Times Square there isnt a better location than the Rennaisance. It's right next to the red steps and is very close to many theatres and restaurants. Grand Central Station is about a 10 minute walk in one direction and Central Park about 15 minutes in another. The hotel itself is very modern with the... More
