We stayed in room 851 from Oct. 29 to Nov. 4, '09. No major problems. We were in town for the marathon. A few small items. We "get it" about the lobby remodel being "cutting edge" and "with it", but get rid of the crappy music. This happens a lot: millions put into a remodel and no thought at all... more
Very modern posh hotel. Drinks and food quite expensive, but a very nice place to stay. Staff were very helpful and the rooms were very nice. Towels were changed every day and housekeeping staff were very good. The reception area and bar was very nice indeed. Can't really fault the place. No kettle in the room but Starbucks is next... more

We are glad that you found our hotel to be a great value. We do offer rooms that do have a coffee maker in the room they are on our concierge floors. We will remind our team to always pay attention to the Do Not Disturb signs which can be hung on the door to insure privacy.
For somewhere to rest one's head in midtown without breaking the bank, the Park Central offers reasonable comfort and a location which is ideal. We are delighted to read that you did enjoy your stay with us. Please be advised that we limit the ability of the general public to use our lobby restrooms by requiring a guest key for entry which can be obtained at the front desk even after checkout.
When I got to the hotel I really liked it. The lobby was very nice and the check in was very quick and easy. My room was dirty, there was dust all over the carpet, the airconditioning did not work and the bathroom had hair in the tub and there was mold all over the ceiling. I wrote to the... more

Stayed here for a week. Upon arrival, handed cash for accomodation. We were then informed that 14.75% city taxes were not included which cost approximately 200dollars extra. When booking with our reservations or website you will be informed of the appropriate state and city taxes as we are required to charge these by law. Located in a busy-enough part of Manhattan (corner of 55th Street and 7th Avenue). Ten minute walk from Times Square, Broadway shows, Madame Tussaude's, 5th Avenue, Central Park. Park central hotel was one of the best experience i've ever had. The hotel is located in a great location with great views from Time Square. The rooms were clean and every single detail was there.
