I have a complaint...one of the elevator lights was burnt out. Everything else was absolutely perfect! The facility was perfect, it was perfectly clean, the employees were perfect, the manager was perfect, the location was perfect, etc. You could spend hundreds of dollars more and never get the quality and grandeur of this hotel. The rooms have recently been renovated....close to theatres and Times Square, lovely bathrooms, quiet, flat screen tv's, wonderful linens,by NYC standards very large rooms, but best of all is the staff. I brought a large group on a business trip. Mr. Jeffery handled our details with ease and quickly. The staff was so friendly from check in to our departure.... more

I was pleasantly surprised...this was a much nicer Hampton Inn then I was used to. The room was large with 2 queen beds (most other hotels in Manhattan had double beds). This is a great option for a very reasonable, short-term stay in Manhattan. The hotel was spotlessly clean, from the lobby to the rooms, and surprisingly quiet given its location on 8th Ave near Columbus Circle. Was there after St Patrick's Day. Lots of kids/teenagers around...place very busy. The young staff handled everything like real pros. I have been to 5 star resorts that don't give as good service as this.
