Some friendly people at the front desk, but most were not. Rooms are tiny, but I guess that's typical NY. $380 a night was still really high for this. Mattress felt like plastic. Towels were like sand paper... seriously.. just get new towels at least. TV "sleep" button actually worked - hurray! a litte bit out of the way for... More

I´ve stayed at several Marriott´s around the globe, and this one does not measure up. The only reason we chose this particular one was for the indoor pool and jacuzzi. We had planned on being out all day around town, then unwinding in the evening. This was important for me as I have a back condition and still recovering from... More

This was a nice place to stay. However, it is far from any big attractions, so make sure you know the bus and the subway system. Housekeeping staff polite, front desk staff very professional. There's a store/deli right around the corner, so there's no need to go hungry. No on site restaurant, however, there's two places the next street over... More

Staff called to confirm free parking on holiday Monday. Clean rm w pull out couch bed and clean. Nice gym. Great location for morning run.

We stayed 3 nights over Memorial day weekend. We arrived early and they accomadated us with our room before noon. The only real negative about this hotel would be the pool and hot tub being closed. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the area quiet, the staff was friendly. A nice place to stay, away from all the... More

My normal preference is to stay in Midtown or the lower East Side, close to the venues I like, sort of equidistant to the places I can walk to, getting exercise and enjoying the neighborhoods along the way. This hotel was booked for me by a client, so I was out of my comfort zone. It is located on 92nd,... More

The hotel is located in the Upper East Side, on 92nd St. between First Avenue and York Avenue. Not right in the center, but still pretty good location in Manhattan, just 10 minutes by foot from the subway (96th Street and Lexington or 86th Street and Lexington. In my opinion, the 86th Street station is better, although it is a... More

After reserving a room and calling the day of arrival to say I would be checking in late, I arrived at this hotel at midnight to be told there were no rooms available. Four others were also in the same position. The front desks clerks were hapless and only tried to find us other accommodations when pressed. The best they... More

Good location--easy on-and-off FDR Drive--and the basics are covered, with wifi service, an exercise room and even a pool. Don't expect frills; there's no coffee shop or bar, but hey, you're in NYC, there are plenty of eating and drinking places around. The staff was uniformly friendly. Our rates varied greatly by the day. Make sure you ask how the... More

This hotel met our needs. It is a typical Marriott with all the same amenities. The room was nice and clean. But you are not in Mid-town so there is not alot of excitement. Across the street is a high rise apartment building and there are a few places to eat in walking distance. The front desk staff is pleasant... More
