The rooms at the W are small, as is typical of the W chain. But my room was nice, and I had a terrific river view. The bar is very good, and the location-in the heart of Times Square-is excellent. One negative note: Wi FI coverage was spotty, which is not ideal for business.

The location was great! The staff was very helpful, but the room was in need of some attention. The lounge chair had multiple spots where the pleather was peeled off. The bathroom tiles had rust stains in places and chips in others. For $500/night, I was hoping that the room would be a little better cared for.

I typically hate hotels in Times Square... too crowded, too noisy, too touristy. I took this reservation because, last minute, I couldn't get one in the hotels I wanted..... Wow! What a pleasant surprise. The room was huge by NY standards. Quiet, clean and the hotel personnel could not have been more accommodating. I would absolutely stay here again.

Excellent service, extreemly comfortable beds, great location. The one complaint is about the bar on the 7th floor. It was a little weird that we were all sitting on coaches enjoying music and some drinks and then being told we could no longer sit there after an hour because they were " reserved" by someone else.
