We recently stayed here for a girls' weekend. The size of the rooms were fine and the price was reasonable but there were some mechanical issues which need to be addressed. First the toilet did not flush correctly -- have to hold the handle down to flush; the electricity kept blowing a circuit while trying to dry our hair; the... More

I planned a weekend trip for my daughter and I, so this was a quick last minute choice. Great selection, I must admit. The location is perfect for shopping on Canal and Broadway streets, 1 block from the subway, and plentiful restaurants. The hotel is not exactly in Soho, but not far at all. Tribeca and China town was nearby... More

My husband and I and our two teenage kids (16 and 13) spent our first 2 nights in New York at The Holiday Inn Soho NYC in October 2010. We chose the hotel as my hubby is a priority club member and had points to use - our first chice was the Intercontinental Times Square which is still part of... More

I have stayed here off and on over 10 years and they have complied with Holiday Inns' directives to upgrade the property to minimal levels with new carpets and TV's and such. They have some helpful people at the front desk, but when there is a problem the managers don't follow up. My last visit was a repeat of a... More

The location is good - disagree with those who say it isn't. You're five minutes walk from great shopping and the cool feel of Soho and a bit further on from Greenwich Village and Bowery. Unless you think New York is just Fifth Avenue and Times Square - in which case you're far away and should check in midtown. This... More

This hotel is very well situated, at the border of Little Italy (to be avoided, gigantic tourist trap), Chinatown and the chic boutiques and restaurants of Soho. There is a nearby subway station (you hear the subway and you feel the vibrations in the rooms). The rooms are okay, reasonably sized, there is free coffee and tea, the bathroom is... More

I stayed here for 2 nights on business, and you get your usual NYC hotel experience. The rooms are smallish, and appeared to have been remodeled, which I deemed a plus. However, there were 2 noticeable gaffs... Cable TV...out of service during the NFL playoff games on Sunday night...no excuses here... My 5AM wakeup call.....never happened... With luck, I woke... I have stayed at almost all of the Holiday Inn properties in Manahattan. The location of this property is fantastic! Walking distance to Chinatown, Little Italy, Soho and Greenwich Village.
