Hotel is within easy walking distance from Grand Central. The NY Public Library and Bryant Park are right down the street. Times Square is also within walking distance. The rooms are small and a little worn around the edges but the location makes it worthwhile.

The building is well located but is just way too old - it just does not work. Rather resembles Fawlty Towers. They should be ashamed of the breakfast which is woeful. That said the staff are friendly and do there best, all except the breakfast manager who might benefit from going back to charm school

What gret little gem! Walking distance to everything in Mid-town. Around the corner from Grand Central. GREAT rates, excellent staff, BIG room for NYC, cool decor and very interesting history. You will not be disappointed!

Great location. Comfortable beds. Good shower. Period. Wireless connection extremely iffy. Hidden thermostat. Bathroom so small there's no room to change your mind. Cleanliness very mediocre. Hotel is in a great location, in midtown, close to grand central. Walking distance to my meetings. But, I would never stay here again.
