I recently stayed for ten days and was very happy with the hotel. Great room...and especially bed!.Staff friendly and helpful.Close to 3 subway stations so very convenient for transport. I certainly dont think it is too far from NYs major sights...had no problem at all.Stone St and vicinity an interesting historic area. Also, extremely quiet at night.....sleep never disturbed by noise.I... More

The location may be good, but it's not worth the stay. The rooms are tiny. They asked if I wanted a room high or low so I asked for one as low they can go and the front desk clerk have me one on the 11th floor?! The room was right next to the elevator (literally 3 feet away). It... More

Thank you for the comments. Our guestrooms are 250 sq. ft. and are on par with the average size for a NYC hotel. The Hotel has guestrooms that go to the 44th floor and the lowest floor available when this guest checked in was on the 11th floor. We sent one of our property engineers up to this room to... More

We recently stayed here so that husband could participate in the Five Boro Bike Tour. We booked several months in advance for a fairly cheap rate. It is located on Stone Street, which is very small and runs between Broadway and Whitehall at the very end. Our first cab driver couldn't find it. When we finally got there, we were... More

Firstly, I’m a diamond member who essentially lives on the road. I seldom even see my itinerary until the day I travel. I politely called this property to cancel so as to position myself closer to my customer. I was told I’d have to pay for the night as a penalty for cancelling. 24 hour notice, period. It strikes me... More

Thank you for the comments. Our Doubletree Cookies are baked fresh every day, all of our rooms have air conditioning and heating (in addition to having windows that open) and the views from our upper floors are spectacular. HHonors members are valued customers of not only this hotel, but to our other Hilton Brands around the world. There are many... More

The rooms were nice and clean but very noisy. I can literally hear next room's conversation! Housekeeping lady also tends to knock on everyone's door at 9 AM - ending waking up the whole floor. There's really not enough elevators for the whole building. You're screwed if you're in the middle floor as most elevators will be full by the... More

Stayed the nights for business trip. staff was friendly and helpful, rooms were small but clean and modern. The location is good for world trade center, Brooklyn bridge, and seaside. I picked the hotel for proximity to my business. If I was traveling on vacation I'm sure I would have found something less expensive. More

This hotel is fine, the room was on the small side, but it was clean, and the bed was comfortable. If you're staying here to be close to the financial district, this hotel will fit your needs, but if you're looking for a hotel to visit the sites in midtown, times square and the upper parts of Manhattan you may... We stayed over the weekend. It was an OK experience for us because of some issues with: a) their heater/AC system ( it's very close to the bed and ether blows hot or cold air depending on temperature set, so you feel ether hot or cold sleeping at night which is very uncomfortable) b) their elevators which are almost impossible... This hotel was perfect for our first trip to New York. Great location with a subway stop close by (Bowling Green) and lovely staff who were friendly (especially one of the doormen who I had a nice chat with whilst waiting for a taxi!) The surrounding area of the financial district was nice and relaxed and after having seen the... More

The room was small (as expected of hotels in NYC) but cozy, modern and clean. The welcome cookies i received when checking in was delicious. The parking garage was not in the same building, nor beside, in front or behind the hotel. The bathroom floor was always leaking with water seeping through the shower door. Funny thing was, I left...
