This newish hotel in Nolita is the best place I've stayed in NY in the past 7 years. The rooms are well appointed: clean and modern, and the location is outstanding for restaurants, shopping, and getting around the city. The staff is very friendly, takes extra care to ensure your stay is above and beyond, and goes the extra mile... More

The staff was super friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. On departing, I was dealing with getting my car out of the garage next door and the doorman who had been notified I was going to need my bags at the front door, walked over to the garage with them without being asked to do so, knowing... I recently stayed at this little gem for a long weekend vacation with a friend. This place has many great features: 1. The location is fantastic - Nolita is one of my favorite neighborhoods in New York, filled with great little restaurants and bars (try Cafe Habana, Bread, & Epistrophy, and a hundred others!) and unique boutiques. (See Erica Weiner,... More

This hotel is the most perfectly located if you want to walk to amazing coffee & treats, fun brunch and dinner places, and great boutique shopping. The rooms are small but very nice. Great bedding, nice bathroom, nice toiletries, and great staff if you need anything else. They also have a really cool rooftop with amazing views (and hopefully a... More

This hotel is just fantastic. Cool location for those who want to experience the real New York (but be near to the tourist spots at the same time). Rooms quite trendy, small enough like all New York hotels but perfectly formed. Lots of nice touches. Great beds. However, what makes this hotel so fantastic is the staff. SO helpful, sincere... We had a fantastic week long stay at the Nolitan, the staff literally couldn't be more helpful and thoughtful - when they found out it was our anniversary a bottle of complimentary Champagne was delivered to our room. Location is excellent, right in the heart of the action in terms of east village and soho, and crucially right next to... More

Stayed in a corner, cityview room, which is a little larger than most rooms and has a great freestanding bath (which is nice and deep, and open to the room) and a great view of mid-town and the ESB. The design of the room is great with an industrial-mid century feel, but despite being a larger room it still felt... More

My wife and I stayed at the Nolitan during early May 2012. It was absolutely excellent. Our room on 6th floor was compact but what do you expect in NYC? As regards decor it was great. Being a relatively new hotel, everything was modern and kept spotlessly clean. The other amazing thing was that it had a balcony of it's... More

Love the Nolitan!!! If you want noisy and impersonal - stick to the big hotels in the tourist-packed areas like Times Square. If you want a peaceful and comfortable oasis within walking distance of the best areas (Little Italy, Chinatown, Soho), stay at the Nolitan. General Manager Patrik Horstmann is to be commended for his extremely friendly & professional staff... More
