Hotel was ideal for budget city break. No frills, just basic room, tv, air con and en-suite. Room was clean with daily maid service. The room we stayed in was a reasonable size (10th floor), no view as we were at the back of the building, but was quiet. Like others have said, it's ideal if all you're going to... more

We were pleasantly encouraged by various trip advisor reviews that this hotel was clean, pleasant, and offered value for money. Whilst it's location, in particular to the Empire State building which is a 5 minute walk cannot be denied, the rooms and service were lacking. Our room was not clean, we had dirty sheets and hair on our pillows. We... more

We stayed here for 5 days in September. It was cheap and pretty much what you would expect- small rooms with basic amenities, small lift, no real view..................but hey, this is New York. If you only plan to spend time in the room to get changed and sleep, and want to do lots of sightseeing, it is perfect. Several subway... more

Pros: great location; cheap Cons: dingy lifts; small and poorly ventilated bathrooms; our room's heater could not be turned off (even with the help of hotel staff) so we had the A/C on as well in order to sleep "comfortably" more

Was impressed as soon as we arrived at the hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful, and allowed us immediate access to our room. Room was clean, decor was very neat. Layout of the room was exactly what we needed. There weren't many hangers, so take some with you, and I would have liked to be able to make a drink... more

Great Hotel, friendly staff. Excellent location, just off Broadway. Rooms were clean and newly decorated. Would definitely stay again. Great Diners and Coffee Shops within a couple of minutes walk. more

Just arrived back from my second visit to New York. Last year I treated my wife to a stay at an up town "posh"(expensive) hotel for her 60th. This year,we took our two daughters (both in their 20's) and we had an equally great time. This hotel was completely different but it did the trick. Our room was a quadruple.... more

This Midtown hotel is fine if your a solo traveller or on a buget. The staff are very quiet but helpful. The room is big enough for 1 or 2 adults and is clean and tidy but this is not a hotel to relax in and enjoy the amenities its somewhere to rest your head and thats about it. The... more

The room was clean, but the bedding was worn and should be replaced. I did not check whether my room was facing the street and I wish I had. It was very noisy and I hardly slept, so take ear plugs just in case. The staff were friendly and very helpful. It's location wasn't bad. It takes approximately 30 mins... more

Stayed here for 5 nights and although the rooms are small they are clean and comfortable. The staff were very nice, friendly and helpful, we had a few laughs with them and they obliged with the loan of a wine opener, which won me over LoL! The location is unbeatable with the subway a few munutes away and the ESB... more
