I've stayed in a lot of the chain names in NYC because you trust them to meet standards. But the costs make you gasp. This was the same service, the same high-quality room and the same safe location on a bargain price. I have stayed in NY from Australia on 3 occasions now. Previously I have had one very disappointing and one very good hotel - but Morgan's sits high above them both.
