We stayed here one night after visiting Capitol Reef. The hotel was a good value for what we paid. So much cheaper than Moab, Bryce or Zion. I believe that is because Capitol Reef is not as popular, but we are so glad we went there, it is just beautiful. We had the best view here out of all the... more

When on a road trip, we don't make reservations ahead of time, because we don't know how far we'll be able to drive. We knew there were a few hotels in this town between National Parks in Utah. We drove through the town and picked this hotel because of the great view of the red cliffs. I believe we got... more

We made our reservations at the Best Western Capitol Reef in Torrey, Utah based on great internet reviews. We were not disappointed. We had requested a top floor, "red rock view" room, and although the hotel could not grant our "top floor" request, our first floor accomodations were roomy, very nice and clean, quiet, and had a spectacular view of... more

After leaving Bryce Canyon and staying at a Best Western there, I was a little nervous about staying at a Best Western at Capitol Reef. Fear not. This hotel was excellent. The rooms were large, many views, very clean, great beds, nice furniture and great location. There is a resturant on property and a pizza place across the street which... more

Great red rock views! It appeared to be the best views around. Definately worth paying extra for a beautiful view where you can sit on the balcony and relax and enjoy it. The room was clean and plenty spacious (we had a king room). The only complaint was the bathroom was a little small but not a big deal. We... more

We stayed here 2 nights as it was close to Capitol Reef National Park. The views were spectacular, with the Red Cliffs right outside our door. The rooms were very roomy and clean. There is a place to do laundry on site, which is convenient. We were less than impressed with the hotel restaurant. The food wasn't very good, I... more

These guys pulled all the stops out to make our stay so welcoming. The rooms are spotless & the grounds are maintained to a high standard and you are surrounded with beautiful scenery. There... more

The price was fairly reasonable for a Best Western. It was located not far outside of Capitol Reef National Park. The rooms were typical for a Best Western. Nothing really stood out as amazing but the rooms were clean& staff was polite. more

This is an older motel that has been updated in most respects. My "red rock view" room was quiet, spacious and did in fact have a red rock view. Everything worked without problem. My primary complaint, however, is that the room suffered from the very noticeable smell of mold, which abated only somewhat with the a/c fan running continuously overnight.... more

$114 single for a “Red Rock View” definitely overpriced. Probably 80% of the rooms have the view anyway but I reserved on the Best Western website the upgraded (something like $13 more) view room. Standard new but smallish and narrow motel room, free wi-fi, desk, nice reclining chair, no safe, no fridge, no microwave, but a nice view. The coffee... more
