My son & I stayed here on a Spring Break trip to Roanoke Island. We didn't need a pool or anything fancy. The price was right so we thought we'd give it a try. What a great decision! When reserving the room, I asked for a room with good Wi-Fi (a necessity since I was travelling with a teenager!). We... More

Reasonable rates compared to other hotels in the area. Unit 10 is not in the main building and faces the road. It was worth the price to pay extra to have the additional sitting area. The bedroom does not have a closet and there is a small space to hang your clothes in the living area. The bedroom has a... More

#1--This Inn is very clean. #2--Affordable. A queen suite in September was $80, and a queen room was $75. Hotels on the Oceanfront at the same time were charging $150 and up. Innkeeper was very accommodating to our late arrival. TV's are not flat screens, but Queen Suite had taller dorm fridge, microwave and plenty of room. Wi-fi is available.... More

This was a great vacation stay! We arrived late after the innkeeper had closed up for the evening. I called the inn and she came right down and opened back up. She was very friendly for someone having to reopen their business. She even came down a little later to check on us and give us some sweet rolls and... More

Our motorcycle group stayed at Scarborough Inn for four days. We had a GREAT time. The owners are very friendly and welcoming. The Inn is very quaint with special touches like reclaimed wood moulding around the windows; a door reclaimed for a church; beds with canopies; refrigerators w/freezers; microwave; pastries; large, soft towels, etc. The Inn is located close to... Just back from a long weekend at Scarborough Inn. Rooms were very clean and beds comfortable. It's a great idea to have each room decorated different. Not the same as most places where there's no character to the room and if you seen one room, you've seem them all. There are rocking chairs and tables available on a covered porch.... More

We stayed at Scarborough Inn shortly after Hurricane Irene and perhaps that was why it was less than acceptable. The first thing I noticed was the strong scent of what may have been air freshener - don't know but, it had me coughing for weeks afterward. The walls were pretty much bare. Perhaps freshly painted. We have a senior group of motorcycle riders. We scheduled a trip to Manteo to see the play- The Lost Colony- which was outstanding. We reserved 7 rooms at the Scarborough Inn and were most pleased with each of them. I worked personally with Rebecca who manages the Inn and had a trouble-free stay. I would recommend this Inn to... We loved our stay at the Inn. We will definitely be back. The stay brought us back to a simpler way of life and made us wonder why we always feel we need more, when enough is just right! The Innkeeper, Rebecca, was get nice and responsive. The room was charming, quaint, clean, cozy, comfortable, private, and unique. We were... More
