This was our first time staying in the Cape and we weren't disappointed. We arrived to what felt more like someone's beach-side home, rather than a soulless BnB. Our room was spacious, clean and had the most amazing views of the sea. Dan and Sue was lovely hosts and we had many leisurely breakfasts talking to them on the terrace,... More

This was our first time staying on the Cape, as well as our first time staying in a B & B. We didn't know quite what to expect about staying in a house and eating breakfast with strangers....but Dan and Sue (the owners) were so hospitable! They keep the charming rooms and lush property clean and beautiful. They provide home-made... More

A great getaway. The location is perfect, close enough to town but far enough away for some peace and quiet. The view and the beach are beautiful. The owners, Dan and Sue are delightful. Start the day off with breakfast on the porch overlooking the bay. Aunt Sukies is a true gem. More

We picked this B & B because of its location. Our daughter was performing at a theatre just a half mile up the beach in the harbor area. It looked like a charming facility, so we took a chance. We now hope our family actress gets booked in the area repeatedly so we have good excuse to return to Aunt... More

For the sophisticated Wellfleet travel when renting doesn't make sense a B and b filled with delightful, attentive, kind hosts, a stunning view and interesting guests who have no interest in television and are happy to read, see the view, engage in stimulating conversations be left alone and rest, this is that place. You can spend lots of money tooling around on a beautiful yacht or a private plane, but you will be hard pressed to find anything more luxurious, or peaceful, than the outdoor shower at Aunt Sukies overlooking the gardens and Wellfleet bay. We stayed there years ago and went just back for a long weekend with our teenagers. The B&B... More

This is the perfect Cape location if you want great hosts, top accommodation, beautiful facilities, overflowing garden, sea and ocean and lakes to swin in, whales to watch, culture to devour, places to explore, books to read, history to learn and to meet a diverse enriching welcoming group of fellow residents. Sue and Dan could not be more welcoming, friendly... More

I planned a three-day trip with my daughter, a recent college grad and son, a college student in order to spend quality time apart from our routine. We chose Aunt Sukie's Bed and Breakfast in Wellfleet to be off the beaten path and away from the crowds. I was thrilled with our location and the simplicity of our room. If... More

I don't know why I have not written a review here, perhaps out of fear of potentially eliminating my reservation for our favorite week there. I won't even say what that week is, but we've been going here in the same week for six or seven years. Sue and Dan Hamar are, to us, like family, and while we vacation... More

My husband and I stayed at Aunt Sukie's in August of 2007. Everything about it was wonderful. Breakfast included delicious homemade muffins and breads as well as fresh fruit, and our choice of coffee or tea, brewed to order. Our hosts were always gracious and helpful, and as interesting and fun to talk to as their guests; without ever being... More
