Thunderbird Lodge is inside the Canyon de Chelly park boundary, just past the visitor center. It was a surprisingly nice place, especially compared to the Best Western nearby in Chinle. We loved the scenic setting of this hotel. Right near the entrance to the Canyon. The tour was handy, the cafeteria had great food. Our tour guide, Ron, took us on the all-day tour and it was fantastic from beginning to end. More
