The poor reviews on this hotel are pretty harsh - I can't speak for the experience of others but we loved the hotel. The grounds are the most captivating... what a releif to be OUTSIDE during a conference instead of trapped inside a modern facility (which are very nice, of course, I just usually never even get to step outside!).... more

Stayed recently at this hotel while attending a meeting on-site. This is a hotel that on the surface is just gorgeous. The landscaping at this site is the real star. Literally, it's quite hard to beat the landscaping for most hotels in the San Diego area. But enough of the landscaping. The hotels are functional but really in need of... more

I've stayed at the Town & Country twice, most recently with Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team In Training to run in the San Diego Rock 'n Roll marathon. Nice property, good amenities, beautiful grounds. I would definately stay here again, in fact I'd probably plan a trip to San Diego specifically to stay here. more

I was with a small group of women consisting of 5 double rooms & 2 suites. The rooms were in the towers each overlooking a nice pool. The rooms were clean. I don't care about the decor since I'm not buying the place. Beautiful gift baskets were left by management in our rooms. We all used the spa Saturday morning... more

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at for a conference. Usually they are held at really nice places but this was a dump. I felt totally unsafe the entire time I was there. Two strange men approached me and cornered me in broad daylight on the way to my room and I had to threaten them. While... more

I made reservations at the Town and Country because of a business convention being held there. The room in the tower closest to the convention center are more like a motel, with the doors being on the outside of the structure that anyone can access. Problems: --My door was not airtight...I could see daylight all around my door. Consequently, there... more

The conference facilities weren't bad, but the room was a terrible value. Besides the outdated, tired style, it was also inadequate for business travel; the room didn't have a desk, enough outlets, or a fridge. They charged exorbitantly for every amenity - $10/day for internet that wasn't working properly, $15-ish/day for parking, etc. Also, check ahead before having the hotel... more

I loved the spa. My room was very comfortable. The staff was caring and friendly, especially Terry in sales. I was lost in the hallway, and she made sure I found my way to where I was going. more

This hotel is conveniently located right in the valley with the trolley station being a few steps away, and the mall a 5 minute walk, you can't go wrong. This place is a lot bigger then I thought, they have three pools which I have yet to see two of them, and a awesome steak house located right on the... more
