I usually get a deal in advance. This stay I just showed up and this is what I found. The woman at the front desk was great. The parking is free but they charge for wifi and there isn't a breakfast. It was pretty loud on the weekend so I didn't get great sleep. Overall nothing to write home about,... More

This was the worst place my wife and I have ever stayed. We were passing through SD for the night and decided to stay here because it was right off the highway. The room was musty and the bed was hard as a rock. I have stayed at Motel 6 in other cities before, but this place does not measure... More

One of the worst Motel 6 I stayed in a long time. Avoid the tower. We got a room near the elevator and there was constant noise throughout the night. You could also see the bright light from the hallway trough the door so that it was never completely dark in the room. The bed was uncomfortable and the pillows... More

Seriously, everyone in here is bashing this Motel 6 when I've been here literally almost every single month for the past 2 years with no incident. I have never, however, gotten the tower, it's always the main building where the office is located. I stay 1-2 nights before having to drop off my boyfriend at the airport (reason why we're... More

About a quarter mile west of the motel is a paved 2-lane class I bike trail to Ocean Beach and other coastal destinations. The trail begins next to a baseball field. Service at the reception desk was friendly, fast, courteous and helpful. I requested a room near a wifi transmitter and received a strong wifi signal. However, the download speed... More

You get what you pay for. I searched the internet for several weeks trying to find a "safe" economical motel close to SeaWorld in San Diego. Everything was a little high for me, around a $100 a night. ( I'm retired, but still working), So I pulled out my Motel 6 book, and found a deal to beat all the... More

Let me preface this by saying I have stayed at a LOT of Motel 6's around the country. The value is good, the rooms are clean and I go on vacations for the things whatever place I am going to provide, not to stay in a room. I just want a good night's sleep in the room. So, my son... More

This hotel has BEDBUGS! They were reported in June 2010, and this hotel still has an ongoing problem, one year since the last positive report. Do a website search on bedbugs and this hotel and you will find the 2010 report. I stayed at this hotel from June 17-20, 2011. On the last day of my stay I found a... More

This was hands down one of the nastiest hotels I have ever stayed in. I was not in control of the booking of this unfortunately since my friend asked me to go to San Diego at the last minute and she had already booked this place. I absolutely agree with the other terrible reviews - it unfortunately lived up to... More

My Sister & I toured America for a month and stayed at this Motel 6 on 10th May until 12th May - as we arrive the hotel looked so beautiful. The pool was a good size and the reception was extremely clean. Unfortunately it isn't until you park your car on the left side that you realise this horrendous tower... More
