FroggySmith from PA was spot on with his comments about conference noise. My wife and I stayed during the same time period. One conference included a noisy shout ridden "team building" event that made us want to shout back and another evening dinner/dance event had a "do it yourself" camera system set outside for couples. FLASH FLASH FLASH I'll also... More

Ok, I will admit that I am staying at this hotel on a conference room rate, which is more than reasonable. When I made reservations specifically requested a quiet room and even called to confirm. Yes, they had the information I was told. What a joke. This is a conference hotel for sure, great setting. As I write this the... More

I stayed here for a work trip recently and loved the property. I stayed in room 1985 and found the room to be musty - it felt as though it needed an upgrade. What I did love about the room was that I had a huge patio that opened up to the garden area of the hotel. The room was... More

We got a deal on this hotel through Priceline. The hotel, views, and location are great. The staff was extremely helpful. Jeff helped us with our check-in and check-out. He went out of his way to help us get into a great room when we checked in. We were able to upgrade to an awesome room in the tower (one... More

We had a wonderful experience here. I called and made reservations and they offered us a beach front view 15th floor. My husband and I planned this family trip together for our 4yr old and our 5 month old. We also had our chiuahuuah with us. We were well treated and had a lovely stay. We went to sea world... More

Stayed there for business. The hotel is a short 15-min drive from the airport. You cannot miss the fact that it looks old from the outside. The suites part of the hotel, which is separate from the main tower looks really very old and may give a false impression. From the inside, the property is really modern. As with all... More

I stayed here with my daughter for a few days for her 12th bday. I got a great price doing the Priceline "name your own price" thing. I was a litle worried because I read some bad reviews but I could not be refunded if I switched hotels. I am so glad that we stayed here. It was a wonderful... More

Had a quick business trip to San Diego and stayed here. Loved the location - back in the bay by the marina. Arrived in the evening and was warmly greeted by staff and especially the front desk. Received an upgrade to an ocean view and it was nice. Property is well maintained and clean. Grounds and pool area are loaded... More

An excellent family stay great location within walking distance of Sea World. The waterfront rooms have directly overlook the marina which is great. The kids loved the waterslides in the pool and didny want to leave. The only downside was the sun did start to leave the pool area just after 3pm, however we did go in Jan when the... More

We arrived and were pleasantly surprised with the front desk staff. We asked for an upgrade and we were able to negotiate one...a suite overlooking the bay. What a great way to awake...viewing the harbor. Now the cons.....parking....the cab fares in San Diego are high. Renting a car is a good idea, but there is no parking on the street... More
