Just to clarify the $35 mandatory parking fee is only mandatory if you choose to park at the hotel. There are plenty of parking lots nearby, or between 6pm and 8am, you can park outside the hotel for free at one of the meters! Its very safe as the valet is present 24/7/365!! Wow, AFTER booking the hotel room on "your guess is as good as mine" Priceline, we found out that the hotel charges a whopping $35 PER DAY for parking. The only parking here is valet so they think they can get away with that. I understand how valet parking works, but to have it as the only option is wrong.... more

We were able to get the Hilton for $89 a night on Hotwire and have no complaints! The location in the Gaslamp District was excellent and the rooms were spacious and clean.
